Notre centre se trouve dans la plus grande ville des Iles de Canarias: Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Notre école s'organise dans 2 étapes de cours: l'après-midi (élèves de 12 à 18 ans ) et le soir (plus de 18 ans). Les élèves de 12 à 16 ans suivent un enseignement obligatoire appelé ESO et puis ils peuvent aller au collège pour les 2 ans suivants  ou étudier un enseignement vocationnel. Les familles de nos élèves ont un niveau socio-économique moyen et à cause de la crise le nombre des defavorisés s'accroit, de sorte que notre centre doit s'assurer de l'argent pour leur acheter des matériaux. De meme, parmi ces familles il y a aussi de nombreux immigrés surtout provenant de l'Amérique du Sud (le Pérou, la Bolivie, l'Équateur, la Colombie...). 
            La plus part des parents n'ont pas eu la possibilité d'étudier et ils n'enseignent pas à leus enfants l'importance de l'éducation. En général les étudiants aiment participer  aux projets qui leur favorise un échange culturel et la possibilité de connaître des personnes de la meme age.
Tout notre centre est impliqué dans ce projet, il s'agit de sept départements qui vont travailler le sujet de l'eau, des sciences naturelles, les mathématics, la physique, la chimie, la géographie et l'histoire, l'education visuelle et plastique, la technologie, le français, l'anglais et l'espagnol.      
             Nous avons aussi dans notre centre des étudiants qui vivent dans des abris parce que soit ils n'ont pas de parents, soit ils ne veulent pas vivre avec eux, mais ces étudiants sont très bien intégrés dans les classes et nous sommes toujours en contact avec leurs tuteurs et les étudiants en tant qu'immigrés sont en diminution car la crise a obligé beaucoup de familles de retourner dans leurs pays d'origine.

FIRST MEETING OF THE COMENIUS PROJECT SPANISH TEAM

On 16th of September, Comenius project components of Spain, we met to start preparing the project-related activities. In our team, you can find the following departments: the department of language and literature, English, French, Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geography and History and Technology.
We have organized a competition to choose three winners logos with all students in the center, on the other hand, the teachers of language and literature, are preparing a summary of the project for publication in the press and we were able to contact a laboratory to be devoted to analysis of food and water and wanted to be part of this project and we will do water testing for free and even invited us to bring the students to know how to work in a laboratory.

PRESENTATION OF PROJECT COMENIUS - TENERIFE

This school year 2014 - 2015 we went ahead with the Comenius project with European funds, called Eua - Analyse et Utilisation (Water, analysis and use). This project has been built in collaboration with 10 countries, Romania and France, as coordinating country and 5th most Western European countries, which include France, Austria, Italy and Greece and 4 other more eastern countries, among which is, Poland, Bulgaria Lithuania and Turkey.During the last year and this year, we have and will make joint efforts, via online and in our own center to study water quality, its uses, the historical treatment of same and action in our environment, so that the students aware of the different studies in each country and treatment with a bilingual (English and French) of each of the activities.To perform this study, we selected the level of 3rd ESO as their knowledge allows us to make a more thorough assessment of all activities performed.We assessed students who want to be more active part in this project, can travel to other countries and share their experiences, but they must welcome into their homes to students who visit us to be welcomed when they travel. In the past year, visiting countries visited Tenerife and Spanish teachers traveled to Romania and Turkey and also traveled to Poland and Italy, but these occasions with students. During this school year, we travel to Greece, Lithuania, Bulgaria and France, where we will start the final document.

Hi everyone, we have published a press release that came out in the newspaper Diarios de Avisos on October 12, explaining what was our proyect and all the activities that we are doing for two years.

  1. Le melange de population chez votre ecole est assez interessant! Le relief unique de chez vous,aussi. Meme si l'on pense a vous parfois effrayes a cause du volcan Teide encore actif, le paysage du printemps continuel et l'ame sensible du peuple espagnol nous donne a y reflechir!

  2. La population de l'établissement me fait penser à celle du collège Les Bruyères : diversité des cultures et des origines ! Que de richesses à partager.
